Tech Lead - DevOps Architecture

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/ CD) pipelines using CI/ CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Ensure pipelines are optimized for speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement best practices to ensure the availability, latency, and performance of production systems.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, or Bicep.
• Leverage configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to maintain consistency across environments.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources including VMs, containers, databases, and other infrastructure components (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Implement and maintain cloud services such as Kubernetes, Serverless Functions, and other App Services.
• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google, OR any private cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for system provisioning and configuration management
• Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Acquaintance with software development processes and methodologies
• Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
• Experience with continuous integration/ delivery tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Travis-CI, or Circle-CI.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/ Docker Swarm).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python or Ruby.
• Manage build/ compile tools Build Tools for Visual Studio, Gradle, CMake, etc.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is essential.
• should demonstrate knowledge in handling distributed data systems & messaging systems like Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
• Good to have working knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Good to have:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS with high availability and security best practices
• Architect and implement AWS server less solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, Step Functions, and other server less services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for multi-environment deployments
• Implement container orchestration strategies and manage microservices architectures
• Experience with Helm Charts, AWS Sage Maker, and MLOps are a plus
