Tech DevOps Engineer

As a dynamic and motivated individual, you will be responsible for playing a crucial role in developing and maintaining the next generation of deployment tools across UBS Group. Your key responsibilities will include: - Helping develop and maintain DevCloudCICD Ansible Deployer, a platform enabling CI/CD for over 35,000 deployments across various business divisions, with a focus on re-engineering it to leverage containers and cloud technologies with Azure and Kubernetes - Assisting users in migrating from legacy technologies to Ansible - Participating in the design and development of the next generation of development tooling centered around Git Ops and Infrastructure As Code - Working as part of an agile development team - Collaborating with other global IT teams - Providing level 3 support, assisting the production operations team in rollout and support-related matters Your expertise should include: - 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scalable, secure, fail-tolerant systems - Applying solutions to address non-functional requirements such as stability, manageability, scalability, capacity, and performance - Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Helm - Extensive experience with Windows, Linux OS, and OS internals - Knowledge of Unix/Windows command line tools - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tooling (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) - Experience in programming languages such as Ruby (Java, Python, Go) - Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD experience in automated environments (experience with Gitlab is a plus) - Working SQL knowledge (Oracle, Postgres) - Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to work effectively as part of a global team UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
