As the Logistics Operations Team Leader at IKEA, you play a crucial role in ensuring excellence in Service Execution. You will work closely with Fulfilment Operations and external Service Partners to guarantee operational requirements are met, ultimately providing customers with an exceptional experience at the lowest possible cost. Leading and developing your operational teams will be a key aspect of your role, always prioritizing a safe, sustainable, and healthy work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure efficient staging and preparation for last mile and loading operations - Manage required handover and loading capacities - Oversee inventory and handling management - Ensure compliance with applicable frameworks and guidelines Additionally, you will: - Identify, recruit, retain, and develop talents within the Service Execution team to build a diverse and high-performing team - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA regulations and local legislation - Drive effective and efficient daily Service Execution, contributing to goal achievement, planning people and equipment, and analyzing workload - Support lean methodologies within the Fulfillment unit and oversee Lean improvements and initiatives **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in leading people with a successful track record in leadership and people development - Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus - Ability to implement structural ways of working and optimize processes - Good knowledge of retail and/or logistics processes, tools, and working methods - Understanding of budget, cost, and key performance indicators - Passion for logistics and ability to drive high-quality processes - Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills As part of the IKEA team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to making IKEA products available to customers, ensuring high availability while minimizing costs.
