Job Description

Job Description: As a Safety Engineer at Continental Surface Solutions India Private Limited, your role involves ensuring compliance with company safety guidelines, customer regulations, and policies. You will be responsible for maintaining a safety culture and awareness of safety work practices within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring personnel, team, and functional requirements towards safety are followed and met as per applicable standards. - Maintenance and troubleshooting of plant machines and equipment. - Advantage if experienced in maintenance and troubleshooting of utilities and facilities such as exhaust systems, power systems, plant utilities, HVAC, cooling towers, and ventilation systems. - Proficiency in power distribution cabinets, high and low voltage components, busbar trunking system, system controls, and motors with speed reducers. - Contribution to projects, support, and execution while understanding drawings. - Expertise in PLC ladder and SCADA to understand electrical/electronic circuits for troubleshooting. - Advantage if experienced in fire protection system and its accessories. - Contribution to maintaining safety standards, statutory requirements, validation, and ensuring meeting required quality standards in day-to-day activities. - Planning spares, maintaining consumption records, and monitoring spare inventory. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma in Electrical/Electronics with 4-5 years of experience, or ITI Electrician with Diploma in Electrical/Electronics and a total experience of 7-9 years. - Added advantage if experienced in polymer, printing industry, and has awareness of SAP PM module. - Completion of an apprenticeship in a reputed organization. - Flexibility to work in all shifts as per job demands. - Additional advantage if holds an Electrical Supervisor License.
