Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will

• Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
• Develop process curriculum by attending conference calls and meetings to identify customer requirements
• Partner with Team Leaders and operations manager for course deliverables, establish expectations and risks, and to determine specific training needs for the staff
• Create high quality deliverables within projected deadlines
• Monitor effectiveness of the training program and make recommendations for improvement when necessary
• Maintain good working relationship with all BCD Travel personnel
• To coach and provide support to the staff for the assigned process
• Ability to work in flexible shifts
• Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specified / outlined herein, as requested

About you

• Possess basic competency in any of the SSC Bangalore process operations
• Preferably has experience in travel domain
• Expert hands-on knowledge on all aspects of the travel reservations process and technology products, including airline GDS
• Strong problem solving and process reengineering skills
• Ability to train/assist staff on weekends and during overnight hours when necessary
• Ability to understand the big picture and offer suggestions and feedback to improve the overall operation
• Proven excellence in customer service delivery
• Working knowledge of all MS applications including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to foster effective teamwork and demonstrates adaptability and flexibility
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.
• Demonstrates personal and organizational integrity
• Manage multiple tasks from BCD Travel regions as and when necessary
• Good follow-through on goals, plans, and projects
