Job Description:

  • Work on General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation (including bank reconciliation statements) and Payroll Accounting for US companies.
  • Conduct daily huddles for the team.
  • Perform advanced reconciliations and prepare monthly deliverables for management financial reports.
  • Handle monthly financial submissions to clients.
  • Complete all assigned jobs accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Update work allocation matrix after task completion and prepare monthly KPI metrics.
  • Escalate pending issues to the next level of management.
  • Adhere to information security and control procedures.
  • Rectify errors related to reversals and re-entries.
  • Perform GL reconciliation for all Balance Sheet items as per SLA.
  • Review Financial Statements (Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet).
  • Conduct variance analysis.
  • Submit financial statements to Financial Controllers.
  • Lead assigned operational projects.
  • Assist clients in resolving audit queries during quarter-end and year-end closing.
  • Research accounting discrepancies and coordinate with clients for resolutions.
  • Continually document and maintain process procedures.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Ability to lead and manage a team of 5 or more members.
  • Relevant experience as a Team Leader in financial accounting or similar role.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate data accurately.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software; preferred knowledge of Oracle/M3/Yardi.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong MS Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to present and support viewpoints confidently within role parameters.

Experience & Qualification:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Candidates must be CA-qualified.
  • Practical experience in GL, BRS, and R2R processes.
  • Preferred candidates from the BPO industry.
  • Willingness to work from 8 PM to 4 AM.
  • Short-notice interview availability is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
