Job Description

Manages the overall Zone related activities to Improve Productivity & Quality [OEE, DPHU, V1] Head count optimisation, JPH Change, New model SOP. Responsible for providing Manufacturing support to the Trim Shop at the Vehicle Production Plant by playing a vital role as Supervisor [process knowledge] & to achieve the AOP Targets EXPECTED END RESULTS Execute the implementation of Improvement in job allocation, Automations, Layout Changes based on other function request for Plant KPI enhancement. Genba Kanri [Better Shopfloor management] Ensures adherence to high quality standards and implements global best practices in order to optimize production costs and maximize efficiency. MAJOR ACTIVITIES Follow Annual Objective Plan for the achievement of Plant KPI. Make planning and follow detail schedule for HC Optimization & Adhere the Plan along with CFT team. Job allocation improvement activity & HC estimate [Daily improvements related to Cycle time] Layout optimisation & 5S [Station, Logistics, part flows] Value added / Nonvalue added analysis. HC Management [Attendance, secure daily RTO..] Quality Control Items to secure ZONE quality outflow prevention Standard operations [SOS Analysis] creation during new process / project implementation Coordination with CFT team for pokoyoke implementation, Ergonomics assessment / rating Ensures adherence to quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and APW. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Vast knowledge in Veh assy process [Job allocation improvement activity] & Veh Specifications Station Layout optimisation, Value added / Nonvalue added analysis approach to improve productivity. Daily shop floor zone management [people handling] with SQCT achievement. Good knowledge in Cycle time / TACT time / TPM Break through activity along with CFT team [2 days kaizen, continual improvement etc..] DPHU Reduction drive, OEE improvement drive & shop floor improvement during new change adoption like JPH change, new model entry, Genba improvement thro 5S adherence Zone level cost management [Overhead cost, variable cost & fixed cost optimisation drive] & Cost reduction activities through process optimization Knowledge on Process side Ergonomics risk assessment / rating Contact Number: 7200506794 Mail ID: manikandan.palanivel-extern@rnaipl.com
