Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Participate in discussions on New Development, Enhancements and conduct System Analysis and study.
Gather user requirements for enhancements and customizations and demonstrate ability to analyse user requirements
Understand and Translate user requirements to agreed product solution.
Prepare comprehensive test plans
Perform Unit & Integration testing and Coordinate UAT & rollout enhancements.
Deliver the programs, according to the requirements within given timelines.
Deliver proper and concise documentation of developments (Simple User Guide, Program Specs & Test Plan).
Acquire / learn new technical knowledge on Java and suggest improvements in work.
Demonstrate analytical capacity by identifying the root cause of the problems and offer alternative solutions to meet functional requirements
Coordinate with Support Team in troubleshooting the issues highlighted by Users
Revert findings / workarounds in reasonable turnaround time to assist support team in their investigation
Strive for defect free deliveries to minimize all post-release bugs.
Proper release instructions and notes to Release Team.

Preferred candidate profile

Must be a graduate with IT background

Experience of around 8 to 12 years in Java development tools Core Java, J2EE, JDK, JQuery, AJAX.

Ability to work on multiple tasks and execute complex assignments.

Shipping domain knowledge would be a plus.
