Job Description

Role & responsibilities Planning & implementing, predictive/preventive / shut down maintenance as per schedules for machinery so as to increase machine up time / equipment reliability. 2.Responsible for overall activities of engineering dept viz. electrical, mechanical, civil work. 3.Responsible for smooth functioning of all equipments, machineries, HVAC, electrical dept. 4.Responsible for getting smooth functioning work from all staffs of engg. Dept. 5.Pro-actively identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns & taking steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting techniques. 6. Responsible for maintaining essential spare parts for all the equipments so as to run the machines efficiently with minimum breakdown time. 7. Preparing out all records & documentation as per SOPs for the unit for facilitating decision making by management. 8. Responsible for giving training to the entire engineering staff related to maintenance, safety, documentation. 9. Responsible for reducing the maintenance cost by monitoring & getting preventive maintenance work from engineering staff. 10. Preparing monthly Fuel consumption & cost analysis reports. 11. Preparing annual preventive maintenance chart for plant as well as utility equipment. 12. Responsible for getting all documentation of preventive maintenance of all equipments and machinery in production block, utility, HVAC. 13. Break-down analysis and implementation of CAPA (Corrective And Preventive Action) to avoid the repetition of failures. 14. Conducting regular training programs in Engineering for updating the staff knowledge . 15. Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department. 16. Carry out such those tasks as assigned by the management from time to time. Preferred candidate profile Rotary equipment and spares , Utility , ETP , MS Office , Civil work , Statutory requirement of Boiler & ETP , Engineering materials , Factory rules , Costing knowledge , MRO ,controlling Perks and benefits
