Job Description

Leads up to three or four small teams working in the Linux systems programming and application programming domains
Hands On Knowledge in C, C , Java, Linux Shell to train Junior employees as well as External Application Developers who are new to Linux
Willing to experiment with Open Source Libraries for third- party Application Developement
Manages the execution of Linux related project tasks and deliverables as per an agreed project schedule
Conducts technical reviews of Linux teams for function, quality and robustness.
Ensures adherence to process discipline by all Linux software teams
Reviews Linux project specifications and defines the work breakdown structure detail
Reviews and recommends new tools for development process and productivity improvements
Conducts annual performance appraisals for reporting staff
Co- ordinates with higher managers for manpower requirement
