Key Responsibilities: Tea Sensory Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation of tea samples by assessing flavor, aroma, color, and overall quality. Prepare Tea Samples: Prepare and brew different types of tea according to established brewing protocols and standards. Record Data: Accurately record and document sensory evaluations and test results in detailed reports. Maintain Testing Standards: Ensure proper handling and preparation of tea samples to maintain consistency and accuracy in testing. Collaborate with Senior Testers: Work closely with senior tea testers and quality control teams to improve sensory testing techniques and methods. Assist in Product Development: Support the product development team in evaluating new tea blends and offering feedback on taste and quality. Stay Updated on Trends: Stay informed about new tea varieties, trends, and innovations in the tea industry. Support Tea Sampling Events: Help organize and participate in tea tasting events, ensuring that samples are prepared and served correctly. Qualifications: Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in food science, nutrition, or a related field is a plus. Experience: No prior experience required. A passion for tea and a willingness to learn is essential. Sensory Skills: A strong sense of taste and smell, with the ability to distinguish between different flavors, aromas, and qualities in tea. Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously follow brewing instructions, document results, and maintain consistent testing standards.
