Tax Analyst

Role Overview: You should have 5 to 6 years of experience in European VAT Compliance return preparation process. It is essential to possess good analytical skills and effective communication abilities, both oral and verbal. A positive attitude, a sense of ownership, and the ability to drive work-related activities are crucial. You should also demonstrate good business acumen and a proactive approach in your work. Key Responsibilities: - Provide data to KGSH for all the entities listed in Compliance calendar - Download EVAT reports and prepare the necessary manual adjustments - Review the worksheet prepared by KGSH for all entities before submission - Conduct a quick reconciliation between KGSH workings and PSGL - Offer journal entries (not part of usual standard JE) to the tax accounting team if required - Download the returns filed by KGSH from the Digital gateway and upload them in OWM - Communicate the status of returns to the Tax Accounting team - Review invoices excluded during return preparation and collaborate with Invoice correction for resolution - Follow up on unclaimed invoices - Maintain regular communication with working-level Subject Matter Experts for clarifications and status updates - Provide essential documents to Tax office queries and Quipsound queries - Perform non-routine tasks such as preparing metrics data on demand, identifying process improvements, and extensive follow-up with SMEs, Reconciliation team, Tax Accounting team, and system team - Resolve SII errors daily - Review supplier requests received through EUROVAT generic ID email and provide necessary solutions - Support MCRP testing by providing samples and acting as a Tester - Assist in GAO and other Internal and External Audits, including audits by Tax Authorities Qualifications: - M.Com/MBA/CWA Inter/CA Inter with 5-6 years of experience in EU Tax Compliance (Mandate),
