Your role will require hustle, sharp thinking, street smarts, and loyalty to the vision. **Core Skills Required:** - **Artist & Brand Management:** You should understand how to grow and position an artist brand, manage schedules, and make long-term strategic decisions. - **Communication & Negotiation:** It is essential for you to be confident in pitching, handling bookings, talking to club owners, promoters, media agencies, and brands, and closing deals with authority. - **Social Media Strategy & Content Coordination:** You must know how to help build an online presence, coordinate content releases, and align with campaigns such as Kannada music going global. - **Industry Knowledge:** A basic understanding of the Indian music/event scene, including genres like Bollywood, House, Techno, and the rise of regional movements, is crucial. - **Networking & Outreach:** Your ability to research, find opportunities, and be proactive in connecting with event organizers, label heads, festival curators, and brand partners will be key. - **Organization & Follow-up:** You will be responsible for keeping track of show logistics, contracts, deadlines, outreach follow-ups, and ensuring smooth execution like a boss behind the curtain. - **Strategic Thinking & Loyalty:** This role involves long-term career planning, launches, brand pivots, and possibly global expansion.
