About the Role

Freelance Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.
• Develop and post job ads on multiple platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.).
• Source and engage potential candidates using job boards, databases, and networking channels.
• Conduct initial screenings via phone, video, or chat to assess candidate fit.
• Shortlist qualified candidates and present detailed candidate summaries to the client/hiring manager.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain an organized pipeline and regularly update progress reports.
• Support negotiation and offer-stage activities when needed.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and uphold employer brand standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role (preferably as a freelancer).
• Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple openings and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Experience hiring for IT / non-IT / specialized roles (customize as needed).
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
