Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor who specializes in alterations, fitting corrections, repair work, and occasional blouse stitching for bridal and designer wear. The ideal candidate must have experience working with heavy lehengas, gowns, saree blouses, can-can adjustments, zippers, beads, sequins, and delicate fabrics. Key Responsibilities Alteration & Fitting Take precise body measurements of customers. Alter bridal lehengas, gowns, blouses, and sarees for perfect fitting. Adjust lengths, waist, armhole, neckline, and flare as required. Modify can-can, layers, and inner lining without damaging the garment. Make alterations while maintaining the design, embroidery, and shape. Repair & Finishing Repair torn fabrics, loose threads, hooks, zippers, tassels, beads, and sequins. Replace zips, adjust margins, and re-finish edges. Ensure all pieces are neat, clean, steam-pressed, and presentable before delivery. Blouse Stitching (Occasional) Stitch simple and designer blouses based on measurements or samples. Create basic padding, lining, finishing, and fitting adjustments. Quality Control & Coordination Maintain high-quality stitching and finishing standards. Coordinate with the designer/sales team regarding customer requirements. Meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all alteration work.
