Job Title: Tableau Administrator

Location:

We are seeking an experienced

Tableau Administrator

to manage and optimize our Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless BI operations, enforce governance standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud including configuration, upgrades, patches, and license management.
Manage data source connections, extracts, refresh schedules, and performance optimization.
Implement and enforce governance standards such as access control, metadata management, and naming conventions.
Integrate Tableau with enterprise data platforms (SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS, etc.).
Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to support scalable BI solutions.
Monitor server performance, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.
Provide training, documentation, and best-practice guidance to end users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Cloud.
Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts.
Experience managing permissions, extracts, automation, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and access-control best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
