Tableau Admin

You will be working as a Tableau Administrator for Ara's Client, a leading global data analytics & AI consulting company. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the administration of Tableau Server (on-prem) and Tableau Cloud, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance. You will also be involved in platform upgrades, incident resolution, disaster recovery, performance optimization, stakeholder engagement, and communication. Key Responsibilities: - Platform Administration & Monitoring: Oversee the end-to-end administration of Tableau Server (on-prem) and Tableau Cloud. Implement proactive monitoring of health, reliability, and performance KPIs. - Platform Upgrades & Cloud Migration - Incident Resolution & Root Cause Analysis - Disaster Recovery & Security Compliance - Performance Optimization & Process Improvements - Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Skills Required: - Tableau Architecture - SAML and SSL activities - Tableau Upgrade - Expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and Tableau optimization - Strong expertise in Tableau Server (on-prem) and Tableau Cloud administration - Hands-on experience in Tableau on-prem to cloud migration - Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server/ PostgreSQL, etc.) - Strong knowledge of Tableau scripting - Experience in conducting Annual Disaster Recovery (DR) testing - Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and user management in Tableau - Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms related to Tableau deployment - Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management - Experience in automating monitoring, alerting, and data extraction - Basic Tableau development skills (dashboards, visualization best practices) - Familiarity with health, reliability, and availability KPIs for Tableau environments Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's in computer science engineering or related field - 7-9 years of total experience with 5 years of relevant experience in managing Tableau environments,
