Job Description Summary - Alfresco We are looking for a proficient Alfresco Java Developer with 5-8 years of experience, including expertise in developing Spring Boot microservices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Alfresco-based applications and integrating them with microservices architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities: Developing custom workflows, document models, and content services using Alfresco Content Services (ACS) APIs. Designing and developing Alfresco-based solutions, including customization, configuration, and integration with Spring Boot microservices. Implementing RESTful APIs and leveraging microservices architecture patterns for scalable and resilient applications. Integrating Alfresco with other enterprise systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and integration. Configuring and optimizing Alfresco environments on Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.). Participating in solution design, technical documentation, and code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Alfresco and microservices implementations. Requirements: Deep understanding of Alfresco architecture, Alfresco Content Services (ACS), and Alfresco APIs. Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring framework (including Spring Boot), RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and microservices design patterns. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is a plus. Strong database skills (SQL and NoSQL) and familiarity with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA). Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and experience with Alfresco deployment on Linux. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and automated testing frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Alfresco certification(s) would be advantage. Exposure to cloud platform to AWS or Azure would be a plus.
