Job Description

Role: Systems Administrator (Windows) Location: Chennai, India Type: Full time Experience: 6 months - 1 Year Job Summary: A Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations. Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user accounts. Monitor system performance, security, and backups. Apply patches, updates, and security fixes to Windows environments. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Implement and manage virtualization solutions (Hyper-V, VMware). Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices. Provide technical support and training to users. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows OS. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation. Understanding of network protocols and security principles. Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
