The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high uptime, optimizing energy consumption, managing vendors, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:1. Network Uptime & Performance Ensure high availability and uptime of telecom passive infrastructure. Monitor SLAs with telecom operators and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Implement proactive maintenance strategies to minimize site failures.2. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of power, cooling, and structural components. Manage asset lifecycle and ensure optimal utilization. Coordinate with field teams for timely fault resolution.3. Energy & Cost Optimization Optimize fuel consumption and energy efficiency. Implement renewable energy solutions (solar, hybrid systems, advanced batteries). Control OPEX by reducing energy costs and improving operational efficiency.4. Vendor & SLA Management Manage third-party vendors for diesel supply, security, and maintenance. Ensure SLA compliance and monitor vendor performance. Conduct periodic audits and contract evaluations.5. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. Implement workplace safety protocols for field teams. Conduct risk assessments and audits.6. Team Management & Training Lead and mentor field engineers and technicians. Conduct training programs to enhance technical capabilities. Ensure optimal workforce deployment for smooth operations.7. Reporting & Analytics Monitor KPI dashboards for site performance analysis. Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Use data analytics to drive process improvements.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Telecom) or related field. 8+ years of experience in passive infrastructure O&M, telecom energy management, or related roles. Strong knowledge of DG sets, batteries, hybrid power solutions, and renewable energy integration. Experience in vendor management, SLA enforcement, and cost control.
