Role Summary

Join a dynamic infrastructure team responsible for maintaining both test and production server environments—on-premises (datacentre) and in AWS. The System Engineer will manage and optimize Microsoft and Linux systems, ensuring stability, security, and scalability across the enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Implement system hardening, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Manage and maintain IBM MQ environments.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization infrastructure using VMware.
• Provide infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Support automation initiatives through scripting and configuration tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience as a Microsoft Sysadmin (AD, Terminal Services, Group Policy).
• 8+ years of Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, or equivalent).
• 8+ years managing VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Strong knowledge of storage and networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

Preferred/Advantageous Skills

• Experience with IBM MQ – major advantage.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Automation and configuration management using Ansible.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Cluster, NetApp storage, and security tooling (patching, hardening, AWS Security).
