General Information: Our Control System Center of competence Department for 2-Wheeler & Powersport product is looking for an Electrification System Architect based in Bangalore, India. To support our growth of our system engineering activities, a position has been opened. You will be part of a team that contributes to define the architecture for our new electrification products for the 2-Wheeler & Powersport product line . As part of the team, you will be a key player in the capturing stakeholders needs and define the concepts to meet their expectations. You will be in regular contact with different disciplines (electronic, mechanic, software…). You will integrate and validate these concepts at system level. You will also lead the deployment of system engineering standards within the team and the company. You will join a dynamic team composed of passionate engineers who work in Agile mode and with challenging objectives in an international environment . Your challenges (Responsibilities): As an Electrification System Architect, you will work in the electrified project area: you have elevated responsibilities in the development of new concepts for electrification solutions for the product line 2-wheeler and powersport. you work in an international team, developing solutions for high volume series application for international OEMs. you are the key technical interface to the customer, and you build up a customer intimacy. you analyze and clarify requirements with the customer and negotiate requirement deviations. The scope can be ajusted based on profiles. The main competencies we are looking for are Battery Management System and Machine Control (FOC). you establish requirements in PTC integrity for the internal disciplines (incl. traceability, managing attributes and requirements metrics). You realize the integration and the validation of the system (s) / product (s) / technology (s). you create system architectures on ECU level in strong alignment with the other disciplines and with our customers. Based on your profound system understanding, you are able to moderate and support problem resolution of issues between different disciplines and the customer. you support quality management (feasibility and risk analysis, FMEA, FTA, FSM) Your qualifications: 5 to 8 years’ experience working as a System Engineer (automotive sector is a plus) Minimum BS Engineering or Dipl-Ing Practice of requirements engineering tools (PTC Integrity Windchill would be a plus) Experience within Electrification product & architecture (Vehicle, Powertrain and Machine control, controllers, battery, supervisor…) Knowledge on SW, HW and mechanical. System simulation & associated tools (Matlab/Simulink…) knowledge in functional safety ISO26262 & Cybersecurity is a plus.
