Key Responsibilities Desktop & Laptop Support Assist in setting up new Windows PCs and MacBooks Help users troubleshoot common issues (slow performance, software errors) Email & Collaboration Tools Learn to configure Outlook and Office 365 accounts Support simple video calls on Zoom or Microsoft Teams Basic Networking Assist with connecting devices to switches and Wi-Fi Help check network cables and basic router settings Server & Backup Assistance Observe and help with file-server backups (e.g., Synology) Learn to monitor backup logs and report any failures Security & Maintenance Update the antivirus on the computers Assist in basic firewall checks under supervision Cloud Fundamentals Gain exposure to AWS console tasks (e.g., starting/stopping instances) Help manage user accounts in Google Workspace Developer Environment Setup Install development tools and software (IDEs, compilers, libraries) on developer machines Configure environment variables and required dependencies GitLab Maintenance Assist in basic GitLab administration: create projects, manage user access Monitor repository health and help troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues
