System Administrator

Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our systems, ensuring high availability, and providing support to our users.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement and manage security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in system administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Understanding of security practices and tools (firewalls, antivirus, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
