Switch Testers

Role Overview: As a Switch NXT Tester for the Cards Banking Project, you will be responsible for performing functional, regression, and integration testing of card transaction switches, specifically Switch NXT and FIS. You will play a crucial role in validating transaction routing and switching across various channels like POS, ATM, e-commerce, etc. Your tasks will involve designing and executing test scenarios, utilizing simulators for testing, validating authorization flows, and ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of switch applications. Additionally, you will participate in certification and compliance testing with card networks and support go-live activities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of card transaction switches (Switch NXT, FIS). - Validate transaction routing and switching across POS, ATM, e-commerce, and other channels. - Design and execute test scenarios for online and batch transaction processing. - Utilize simulators for POS/ATM testing and analyze host and acquirer responses. - Validate authorization, clearing, and settlement flows. - Raise and track defects, work with developers to resolve issues. - Perform certification and compliance testing with card networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). - Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of switch applications. - Participate in UAT and support go-live activities. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with Switch NXT or FIS (IST/Connex) platforms (must-have). - Strong understanding of ISO8583 messaging format. - Familiarity with the end-to-end card transaction lifecycle including Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement. - Experience with tools like POS simulators, ATM test tools, Host simulators.
