Job Description

Role: SVP – Catastrophe Modelling & Exposure Management

Location: Gurgaon/ Pune/ Noida/ Bengaluru

Work Mode: Hybrid

About The Role

We are seeking a strategic leader to head our Catastrophe Modelling & Exposure Management function. Reporting to the EVP – Data & Analytics, this role will drive service excellence, capability expansion, and digital transformation across analytics delivery for global (re)insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead large-scale, multi-service engagements in catastrophe modelling, exposure management, data engineering, and advanced analytics.
Oversee client delivery and governance, ensuring consistent quality, innovation, and business growth.
Shape and execute the analytics strategy, establishing centres of excellence and expanding coverage across underwriting, claims, and portfolio analytics.
Own P&L delivery, driving profitability, margin optimization, and scalable growth.
Spearhead AI-driven transformation and digital automation initiatives to modernize modelling and exposure management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proprietary platforms, analytical products, and monetizable IP assets.
Mentor senior leaders, foster innovation culture, and represent the organization at key industry forums.

Desired Experience & Skills

18+ years of leadership experience in global analytics and technology delivery within P&C insurance or reinsurance.
Proven expertise in catastrophe modelling, exposure management, actuarial analytics, and data transformation.
Strong record of scaling teams, managing multi-million-dollar portfolios, and delivering YoY growth.
Hands-on knowledge of modelling tools such as RMS, AIR, or equivalents.
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
Strategic thinker, exceptional communicator, and passionate about innovation-led transformation.
