Job Title: Sustenance Engineer (Contract) Job Type: Contract – 6 Months Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Location: Remote Experience Required: 5+ Years Budget: ₹1.3 Lakhs per Month (Max) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Sustenance Engineer with 5+ years of experience for a 6-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to maintain, enhance, and support existing products or solutions in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and resolve product defects, performance issues, and stability problems in existing systems. Provide Level 3 support for escalated issues from the support or QA teams. Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to implement patches and updates. Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues. Document fixes, enhancements, and support procedures clearly and thoroughly. Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and timelines. Required Skills: Proven experience in software/product sustenance and maintenance. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, C++, Python, or .NET. Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking tools like Jira is a plus. Good communication and collaboration skills for working in a remote setup.
