Role & responsibilities Overseeing the purchase and maintenance of fleet vehiclesManaging all aspects of vehicle operation, including licensing, insurance, and warrantyPlanning and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiencyDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures for vehicle use and maintenanceManaging and tracking fuel consumption and expensesCoordinating with drivers to ensure optimal performance and address any issuesEnsuring compliance with government rules and regulations related to fleet managementKeeping accurate records of vehicle use and maintenanceOrganizing vehicle replacements and disposal when necessaryTraining staff in safe and efficient vehicle operationOptimizing fleet operations to improve efficiency and reduce costsImplementing strategies for sustainable fleet management, including reducing fuel consumption and emissionsAnalyzing data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisionsCollaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support overall business objectivesEnsuring drivers have knowledge of terrain and road conditions to enhance route planning and safetyAdvising on best practices for driving in various terrains and weather conditionsPreferred candidate profile Proven work experience as a Fleet Manager or similar roleAnalytical mindset and strong problem-solving skillsAttention to detail to ensure records are kept as neededExceptional interpersonal skills to work with various departmentsA bachelors degree in logistics or accounting is preferredRelevant training and/or certifications as a Fleet ManagerKnowledge of terrain and road conditions relevant to the fleet's operating areas Skills:Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsKnowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairFamiliarity with GPS and fleet management softwareAbility to analyze data to increase business operational efficiencyExperience with fleet optimization techniquesUnderstanding of sustainable fleet management practicesExpertise in navigating various terrains and road conditionsContact Ushr@susquare.in or 9567067001
