Job Description

Role & responsibilities Conduct land, topographical, and structural surveys for plant construction, expansion, and operational projects. Use surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, Theodolite, etc.) to measure and map plant areas. Prepare and maintain records of survey data, maps, and reports. Ensure accuracy in leveling, alignment, and positioning of structures, roads, and equipment foundations. Assist in the layout of steel plant facilities, including roads, utility lines, and storage areas. Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to execute projects as per design. Verify boundary lines, property lines, and land ownership records. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Monitor and inspect the execution of construction work based on survey reports. Resolve discrepancies between design and actual site conditions. Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying software. Expertise in using Total Station and other modern surveying tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maps. Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. Knowledge of safety standards in the steel industry
