Surgery coders

Location: [chennai,banglore]

We are looking for skilled Surgery Coders with strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in assigning accurate codes and ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze surgery operative reports to assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and insurance guidelines.
• Maintain high quality and productivity standards.
• Collaborate with QA teams to resolve coding-related queries.
• Stay updated with the latest coding and payer policy changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Surgery Coding (Multi-specialty preferred).
• Good understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Certified coder (CPC / CCS / equivalent) preferre, Non-Certified coder is also fine.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
