Good day, We have immediate opportunity for Operations Support Specialist – Batch Monitoring & Process Management Job Role: Operations Support Specialist – Batch Monitoring & Process Management. Job Location: Kharadi , Pune / Trivandrum Experience- 5 to 12 Yrs. Notice Period : upto 30 Days . J Job Description: The primary function of this role is to deliver efficient and effective operational support in managing batch flows, monitoring systems, and ensuring service levels are met. The Operations Support Specialist will oversee 24/7 ABS batch monitoring, handle fault rectification, support migration activities, and contribute to process improvements. Additionally, the role involves acting as a shift lead, training junior team members, and ensuring smooth communication across teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and supervise the 24/7 ABS Batch Monitoring system; swiftly check and rectify faults or escalate issues to 3rd level support. Implement JCL and batch flow processes aligned with ABS standards. Serve as Shift Lead, guiding juniors, managing customer communication, and overseeing Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities. Conduct checklist processing to verify the successful completion of critical jobs and tasks. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative ideas. Efficiently manage Go-Live and major migration processes ensuring minimal disruption. Participate actively in team meetings, share updates, and ensure effective meeting management. Facilitate training sessions to groom team members and provide ongoing support to juniors and peers. Soft Skills (Must be Excellent): Teamwork and Collaboration Flexibility and Adaptability Clear and Effective Communication (Verbal & Written) Discipline and Professionalism Willingness to Learn and Continuously Update Skills Confidence and Assertiveness Attention to Detail and Accuracy Stress Resistance and Ability to Work Under Pressure Hard Skills: Hands-on experience with Control-M Monitoring Tool Proficiency in JCL scripting (writing and updating) Strong understanding of batch processing workflows Knowledge of CPI (Control Panel Interface) and familiarity with ITIL processes Basic knowledge of Linux commands and scripting languages Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow (SNOW) Special Skills & Experience: Fluent communication skills in English (both written and oral) are essential. International experience, particularly within European and U.S. environments, is highly advantageous. Qualifications: Proven experience in batch process monitoring, control systems, and operational support roles. Technical background aligned with ITIL standards and control systems management. Note: This role requires a proactive, detailed-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, capable of managing 24/7 operations, collaborating across functions, and continuously seeking process enhancements.
