Plan, coordinate, and oversee the efficient and cost-effective movement and storage of goods within a supply chain. This involves managing everything from procurement and transportation to warehousing and final delivery, ensuring products reach their destination on time and within budget.

Decision Making Authority (This will be for every job allocated to the individual)Refer to the Decision making box for detail information
- Experience in custom clearance/Ocean/Air Freight negotiation/Documentation and Transportation.
- Managing export and import logistics operations and maintaining various MIS data. (Dispatch report, CFS report, etc)
- Robust operation handling, with close co-ordination between CHA’s, transporters and Plant team.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports and customer service issues.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit and delivery.
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
- Knowledge of SAP system.

4: Key Result Areas (List the key deliverables that quantify successful performance in the role).
- Vendor Management of All Logistics Vendors - Review of Problems, Outstanding issues arranging ledgers.
- Review of Shipment Tracker - Go Comet Reports.
- Follow-up on daily email queries sent by CS Team & Shipping Lines. Plan of Action and closure of communication within 48 hours timeline.
- Controlling all Unplanned cost (Detention, Halting charges etc).
- Taking Approvals on Additional Impact / Cost on timely basis from HOD.
- Bill checking for Unplanned costs, taking approvals from HOD and giving for processing to bill processing team within 48-72 hours timeline.
- Ensuring team to arrange con-call with both the plants for halting of containers and taking action accordingly.
- Weekly review with Documentation team on Bill of Lading release against outstanding pending.
5: Decision Making Authority (For each decision type define if the action involves below mentioned categories:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with logistics process.
- Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time.
- Ensure material are shipped appropriately to ensure quality of goods during transportation.
