Job Description

Role Overview: As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, the customers & products (C&P) business area is establishing a business and technology centre (BTC) in Pune, India. As a New Product Introduction Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of product changes across the Americas. Your responsibilities will include participating in cross-functional projects, planning and implementing product changes, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of the Product Lifecycle master plan. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in cross-functional projects related to new product launches, tenders, and product rationalization to enable accurate demand profiling and successful implementation. - Plan and implement product changes across the Americas distribution network. - Support the Product Line Manager in developing the New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle master plan for the Performance Unit. - Collaborate with demand planners and production planners to ensure clear priorities and effective communication of supply changes. - Utilize internal tools like Streamline for SKU introduction within the Americas Supply Chain. - Develop and communicate supply chain implementation plans for product changes, tenders, or rationalization programs. - Work closely with Global Supply Chain functions to ensure integrated planning and execution. - Assist in managing exit plans for Slow and Obsolete Stocks (SLOBS) and excess stocks. - Support Network Optimization initiatives by collecting key inputs for project recommendations. Qualifications Required: - BS degree, preferably in business administration, supply chain/logistics, engineering/operations, mathematics, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. APICS or CSCMP certification is preferable. - Minimum of 5-8 years of Supply Chain operational or business experience. - Demonstrated experience in Supply Network and Production Planning. - Proficiency in ERP planning (SAP, APO Kinaxis), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and understanding of the Streamline process. - Strong analytical skills, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and technology proficiency. - Skills in End to End Supply Chain, Logistics & Warehouse Management, Supply Processes & Inventory Management, Business Partnering, Customer Service Management, Commercial Acumen, and Supply Chain Design, HSEC, Transformation & Change Management, S&OP. - Shift Timing: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST (US Shift).
