Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Location: Noida Sec 63 Experience: 6+ Years Department: Supply Chain Management Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, logistics, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role requires strategic planning, analytical thinking, and leadership to drive supply chain excellence. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee the movement of raw materials and finished goods to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock. Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline operations. Vendor & Supplier Management Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure the best quality and pricing. Collaborate with procurement managers and stakeholders on product selection and sourcing . Evaluate supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues proactively. Logistics & Distribution Management Plan and oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries to meet customer demands. Ensure efficient warehouse and transport operations to maintain seamless distribution. Implement best practices for cost-effective and sustainable logistics solutions . Budgeting & Compliance Plan and analyze supply chain budgets and expenditures to control costs. Ensure compliance with industry laws, regulations, and company policies . Maintain customer service logs, safety records, and audit reports for operational transparency. Risk Management & Problem-Solving Identify potential risks in the supply chain process and implement mitigation strategies. Resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and operational bottlenecks . Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives . Key Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement. Proficiency in supply chain software and inventory management systems . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize operations. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices . Strong leadership and business management skills to drive team performance. Ability to work well with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners . High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Qualifications & Education Requirements (Logistics Manager) Degree/Diploma: A foundation degree, higher national diploma, or bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or Transport Management . Apprenticeships: Candidates may qualify through a Supply Chain Practitioner Advanced Apprenticeship , leading to a Supply Chain Leadership or Express Delivery Manager degree apprenticeship . Career Progression: Employers may promote Transport Clerks or junior supply chain professionals to Logistics Manager roles through on-the-job training and professional development . Professional Certifications: Certifications from the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) or other recognized professional bodies are preferred.
