Supply Chain Manager

As a Supply Chain Manager at Pyramid Eats in Ambala, Haryana, within the Food Processing industry specializing in Frozen Foods like Burger Patty and French Fries, your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, managing, and coordinating logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service activities. - Efficiently procuring raw materials such as potatoes, binders, and packaging materials. - Monitoring inventory levels and implementing effective demand planning and forecasting. - Overseeing cold storage logistics and maintaining temperature-sensitive supply chain handling. - Managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers. - Implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. - Ensuring compliance with FSSAI and food safety standards throughout handling, storage, and shipping. - Collaborating closely with production, quality control, sales, and procurement departments. - Identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain. - Optimizing costs while ensuring consistent product availability and timely delivery. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Food Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in frozen food manufacturing or processing. - Strong knowledge of supply chain management systems and cold chain logistics. - Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations such as HACCP and FSSAI. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and handle multi-location coordination. Preferred candidates will have a background in frozen food items like burger patties, french fries, spring rolls, nuggets, etc., and experience working in a food processing unit with automated or semi-automated lines.
