Supply Chain cum Procurement Manager- male

As a Supply Chain cum Procurement Manager, your role will primarily involve leading and managing procurement and supply chain operations independently. You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials such as sheets, rods, pipes, structural steel, castings, and structural sheets. It will be essential for you to interpret engineering drawings and designs to understand material specifications and requirements. Conducting vendor scouting and negotiations to ensure the best pricing, quality, and lead times will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Identifying and implementing cost reduction strategies across the procurement cycle and maintaining a strong understanding of metal market trends and pricing will also be crucial. Additionally, you will manage job work processes such as laser cutting, bending, machining, CED coating, galvanizing, etc. Moreover, overseeing and streamlining end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement planning, logistics, and inventory management will be part of your role. You will also be expected to prepare and maintain MIS reports related to procurement and supply chain performance. Building strong vendor relationships, evaluating vendor performance regularly, leading and developing a team of purchase and supply chain executives, and traveling as needed to source materials and inspect vendors/suppliers will be essential tasks. Furthermore, you will coordinate closely with production, design, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
