SUPPLIER QUALITY LEADER 1

Job Description

The Supplier Quality Leader is in charge of developing supplier QCD performance and managing the suppliers performance (timing, quality, delivery, service) during program development to launch for a defined list of suppliers. The main missions of the role are: o Ensure/organize and coordinate the related Supplier Development activity , based on inputs from assessments, supplier nomination committee, Program or Series escalation. o Manage Quality claims and ensure resolution through communication and assistance to the supplier. o Work closely with suppliers to develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address quality issues. o Perform Supplier assessment according to FAURECIA standards and supports the Commodity buyer to obtain efficient action plan. o Deploys APQP related to development phase (or current production phase) of Bought out parts following Faurecia Purchasing requirements. o Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 , or other relevant industry standards at supplier end o Manages the process qualification at supplier (control plan and quality basics implementation, mass production trial & process Audit) o Monitors PPAP for All Child parts. Assist in supplier qualification, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives o Manages progress/convergence plan with low performance suppliers involved in program in collaboration with Plant Quality Team. o Assist in supplier qualification, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your profile and competencies to succeed Minimum Education Level : Bachelor Degree in Engineering Experience: o Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in industry in Quality and Supplier Quality Function. Nice to have: VDA Awareness and Third Party Audit Expereince Skills and competencies: o Project Management Methodology ( Must Requirement ) o Stamping Commodity Knowledge( Must Requirement ) o Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, 8D & SPC. ( Must Requirement ) o Supplier audit process ( Must Requirement ) o Quality & productivity management o Process knowledge o Strong written and oral communications skills
