Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering and experience working with suppliers.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and implement quality plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of supplier facilities to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall product quality.
Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
Provide training and coaching to suppliers on quality systems and procedures.
Ensure all products meet required quality standards before release.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and areas for improvement.
Experience with auditing and inspection techniques, including process validation and deviation control.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
