Role & responsibilities Key Activities Request PPAP documentation for new and modified components and supplier-process, review documentation with supplier according to internal specifications Manage inspection and testing of supplier sample components Perform process audits at supplier site within his geographical perimeter and follow-up the action plan until closure Manage yearly components re-homologation Monitor supplier quality claims and drive effective resolution through 8D process and lessons learnt Follow action plan and efficiency of countermeasures at supplier site After SOP, conduct supplier performance evaluation and report to Management Follow-up Defect cost charge-back process to supplier (with support of other teams) Manage TOP OFFENDER process. Be the commodity referent vs other plant departments. Train and teach quality technicians on quality tools Key Professional Competencies Knowledge of Quality, Engineering tools & manufacturing processes linked to brake industry. Automotive norms knowledge. Audit management and negotiation know how Supplier quality monitoring know how Problem solving & quality tools Key Personal Competencies Collaboration & Teamwork Communication & Presentation Influence & Persuasion Stress & Pressure / Being Resilient Ownership & Accountability Preferred candidate profile Diploma - 4- 8 yrs exp Bachelors degree in engineering.(mechanical) - 3- 5 yr exp.
