Role & responsibilities New Supplier assessment Supplier Development Active participation in technical review meetings & provide conclusion Release of QRA - Quality Risk Assessment Performing onsite PSA (Potential Supplier Assessment) in India & Southeast Asia New part development for Engines Performing Process Manning Review Performing PPAP & Process Audits Regular Interaction with local and Global Teams Supplier Interactions, follow-up of Development Plans, Technological Decisions to meet project timelines Preferred candidate profile Technical background with Electrical/Mechanical knowledge Must having sound knowledge about Electric & Electronic Components like Starter Motor, Alternators, Sensors Etc. Ability to work in team Effective communication skills Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Experience in New Product Development Hands-on experience in Component Development (Preferred Engine Components) Knowledge of Quality tools IFMEA, Control Plan, POCA, BD, PPAP, Should be familiar with APQP Tools and Process Must having Experience using Statical tools, SPC Outstanding verbal and written communication skills & Fluent English speaker Knowledge about Six-Sigma will be added advantage. Knowledge of assembly/machining manufacturing process Knowledge of engines is considered a plus Customer management Problem solving
