Role Overview The Associate – Civil Design & Engineering will be responsible for detailed design, grading, hydrology, and civil infrastructure layout for utility-scale Solar PV + BESS projects. The role includes coordination with electrical teams, permitting support, and optimization of land and drainage. Responsibilities Develop detailed site grading plans, cut/fill analysis, and piling layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools. Conduct pre- and post-construction hydrology modelling using Hydro CAD, FLO-2D, and ArcGIS. Design drainage systems, culverts, erosion and sediment control measures, and stormwater management solutions. Collaborate with the electrical design team on pile grading, equipment pad layout, and access road design. Prepare drawings including site layouts, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), erosion control plans, and IFC drawings. Work on solar EPC and BESS projects, including substation site design and land development. Ensure compliance with local and international civil standards (IRC, AASHTO, ASTM, EPA, IEC, NEC).
