We are looking for a passionate Fashion Communication Intern to join our team. This internship focuses on interacting with customers, understanding their unique fashion needs, and assisting in designing custom outfits for special occasions like weddings, parties, and other significant events. The intern will support the fashion team in helping clients express their personal style through custom designs while providing an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities : Customer Interaction : Engage with customers through in-person or virtual consultations to understand their style preferences, occasion details, and custom design requirements. Customization Support : Assist in translating customersideas into personalized outfits, working closely with designers and tailors. Design Assistance : Help create design sketches, fabric selection, and provide feedback during the design process. Outfit Design Communication : Communicate design progress and updates to customers, ensuring they are part of the creative process. Product Knowledge : Develop a thorough understanding of fabrics, designs, and trends to offer valuable suggestions to customers during consultations. Customer Feedback : Collect feedback from customers after product delivery to ensure satisfaction and help improve the design and customer experience process. Event Support : Assist in organizing special events, trunk shows, or fittings for customers. Administrative Tasks : Maintain customer records, keep track of orders, and assist in preparing design proposals or order confirmations. Requirements Education : Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related fields. Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand customer preferences and translate them into design ideas. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for designs. Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and design techniques. Ability to work with design tools like Adobe Illustrator or hand-sketching is a plus. Ability to collaborate with a team, designers, and clients to bring creative ideas to life. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer consultations or projects. Experience : Prior internship experience in fashion design or customer service is a plus, but not required. Personal Traits : Passion for fashion and helping clients look and feel their best. Ability to work under pressure and handle customer requests effectively. Creative problem-solving skills with an understanding of client needs and preferences.
