Studio Engineer (Exterior/Interior)

Role Overview: You will serve as the primary point of contact between the Design and Engineering teams for the development of new models. Your responsibilities will include fixing initial engineering requirements, negotiating with Engineering to achieve the target design image, and collaborating closely with layout and engineering teams to meet design targets. Additionally, you will help the design team understand engineering constraints early in the development cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the liaison between the Design and Engineering teams for new model design development - Fix initial engineering requirements and understand constraints - Negotiate with Engineering to achieve the target design image/intent - Collaborate and work closely with layout and engineering teams during design development - Assist the design team in understanding engineering constraints early in the development cycle Qualification Required: - In-depth engineering knowledge of exterior design including layouts, SES, regulations, lamps design, alloys & wheel covers, sheet metal design, and plastic designs - In-depth engineering knowledge of interior design including IP & door systems, trims & seats - Proficiency in Siemens UG & Teamcenter, project documentation (Word, Excel, PPTs) - Behavioral competencies such as collaborative working and problem-solving skills Additional Details: No additional details provided in the job description.,
