Role Overview: As a Student Support Member, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to students visiting the support desk. Your role will involve interacting with students, addressing their queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. You will need to have strong English communication skills, a dedication to problem-solving, and a commitment to following standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality of service. Key Responsibilities: - Interact with students visiting the support center, addressing their queries, concerns, and issues with professionalism and empathy. - Respond to student inquiries through various communication channels, including in-person visits and phone calls, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of their queries. - Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in service delivery and uphold the highest quality of support. - Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, demonstrating a high level of English proficiency in both written and spoken communication. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions, documenting the nature of queries, actions taken, and resolutions provided. - Continuously strive to improve service quality, adhere to quality standards, and identify opportunities for process enhancement. - Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions to support students effectively. - Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest information and best practices in student support. - Gather feedback from students and provide it to relevant departments for process improvement and enhancement of the student experience. - Be adaptable to occasional changes in responsibilities, such as assisting with special projects or other support tasks as needed.
