Role Overview:

The Student Engagement counselor role is a key position within our organization, primarily responsible for absenteeism calling of inactive and irregular students. The parents/guardians of the absent students are contacted to ensure their regularity in the classroom and identify their concern areas if any.

Main KRAs:

Absenteeism Calling: Interact with Parents/ students who are absent for consecutive classes/ have low attendance and address their queries, concerns, and issues with professionalism and empathy.

Ticket Creation at Freshdesk: For all the actionable dispositions other than Admission Cancellation Request and Refund, SEC will create a ticket at Freshdesk which will be passed on to the SST member

Query Resolution: Respond to student inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of their queries.

Other KRAs:

Test Absenteeism Calling: If any student is absent in the Test, Interact with students/Parents. Identify the issues and resolve the issue professionally.

Parent Teacher Meeting Calling: If required call the parents to attend the Parents Teacher Meeting.

Expectations from SEC:

Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service delivery and maintain the highest quality of support.

Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, maintaining a high level of proficiency in both written and spoken communication.

Gather and provide feedback from students to relevant departments for process improvement and enhancement of the student experience.
