Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Student Counselor, based in Thrissur. The Student Counselor will provide personalized guidance to students and their families throughout the admission process. Responsibilities include conducting student counseling sessions, offering career guidance, assisting in course and college selection, and providing support with documentation, application processes, and budget planning. The counselor will also ensure students receive step-by-step guidance, from initial inquiry to final admission, while fostering a supportive and ethical relationship.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to assist students in making informed academic and career choices
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with students and their families
• Background or experience in Education, especially in higher education guidance, is preferred
• Empathy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Education, or Social Work is desirable
• Fluent in English and Malayalam; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
