About the Institution:

Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
individual and group counseling
sessions to students on academic, emotional, and personal challenges.
Offer
psychological support and guidance
for stress management, anxiety, personal and career-related issues.
Conduct
workshops and awareness programs
on mental health, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.
Identify students needing specialized care and
refer to external mental health professionals
when necessary.
Collaborate with faculty, students, and placement departments to promote a supportive campus environment.
Maintain
confidential counseling records
and follow ethical guidelines and institutional policies.
Develop and implement initiatives to
enhance student engagement, motivation, and resilience
.
Support orientation and mentoring programs for new students.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Masters degree in Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Clinical Psychology
(mandatory).
5-10 years
of experience in mental health support, student counseling, or educational psychology.
Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
Knowledge of contemporary counseling methods and stress management techniques.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, patience, and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic report documentation.
