As a Renewal Associate in the Renewal Department, you will play a crucial role in the insurance policy renewal process. Your primary responsibility will involve contacting existing customers through telecalling to ensure timely renewals and contribute to maintaining a high retention rate while fostering positive customer relationships. Your key responsibilities will include achieving a minimum renewal rate of 95% for assigned policies. You will proactively reach out to policyholders nearing renewal dates to facilitate timely renewals and address any concerns or queries related to renewing their policies. Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products to existing customers and upselling policy enhancements based on customer needs will be essential. You will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement cross-selling and upselling strategies effectively. Building strong relationships with satisfied customers to obtain referrals and references will be a crucial part of your role. Encouraging customers to provide positive feedback and testimonials for marketing purposes and leveraging customer references to attract new business opportunities will also be important. You will assist customers in understanding the portability options available for their insurance policies. Guiding customers through the portability process, including documentation and transfer procedures, while ensuring a smooth transition for customers opting for portability will be part of your responsibilities. Your competencies will include clear and persuasive communication skills to engage customers effectively, negotiation skills to encourage renewals and additional purchases, and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and ensure a positive experience.
