Structural Foreman

Job Summary:

The Structure Foreman will be responsible for supervising all structural works at the site including RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and related construction activities. The role ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily structural construction activities on site.
• Interpret and execute work as per approved drawings and structural plans.
• Ensure proper setting out and alignment before commencement of structural work.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization for efficient site progress.
• Check quality of shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete before and during casting.
• Coordinate with site engineers for inspection and approval before concreting.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and report unsafe practices immediately.
• Maintain daily work progress reports and update the site engineer regularly.
• Guide and manage the work of masons, carpenters, bar benders, and laborers.
• Verify dimensions and levels as per structural drawings.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for cube testing and other structural tests.
• Assist in material requisition and ensure minimal wastage on site.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural works (RCC, foundation, slab, column, beam, etc.).
• Strong understanding of drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS).
• Ability to manage workforce efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of concrete grades, mix ratios, and curing procedures.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
