JOB SUMMARY : The Learning Management System Specialist is for supporting the technical aspects of - Diversified’s Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS Specialist ensures its effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization. The LMS Specialist will have the ability to collaborate with internal Learning and Development Program Manager to enhance teaching and learning experiences in the areas related to digital learning. The specialist will be responsible for the design, enhancement, delivery and Onboarding of Diversified Academy. The position will evolve as the needs of the business expand. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: System Management and Configuration: Serve as primary specialist for Diversified’s LMS (e.g. system configuration, user permissions, integrations, data management and reporting). Partner with IT and HRIS to support system updates, testing, and integrations. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues with the LMS vendor and other integrated systems. Content Development: Work with development and training team to upload, test and deploy learning content (eLearning, videos, documents, SCORM packages). Manage third-party learning content (e.g. LinkedIn Learning, compliance libraries, etc) within the LMS Cornerstone. Manage course creation, enrollment rules, learning paths, and certifications. Reporting and Compliance: Ensure that training programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements, especially in industries with specific compliance needs. Run regular reports and dashboards to track learner progress, course completion, and compliance metrics. Ensure data integrity, timely archiving, and audit-readiness of training records. Support all required documents related to audit requirements. Training Logistics and Scheduling: Assist as needed to develop training paths for all in-person, virtual training sessions, workshops and meetings. Manage training logistics such as room bookings, invites, materials preparation, and attendance tracking. Maintain organized training calendars, team documentation, and standard operating procedures. Troubleshoot technical issues for course support. Learning Technology: Utilize learning management systems (LMS Cornerstone) and other technology to deliver and track training initiatives. Stakeholder and Learner Support: Serve as liaison between trainers, instructional designers, business stakeholders, and learners. Assist with onboarding program coordination and tracing for new hires globally. Communication: Effectively communicate with associates, managers, and other stakeholders to promote training opportunities and gather feedback. Project Management: Manage training projects, including budgets, timelines, and resources. Certifications and Skill Tracking: Maintain accurate records of associates completing various certification programs. Track associate’s success with completion of certifications. Create a tool that will maintain proficiency levels of required competencies within career paths. External Training Partnerships: Collaborate with external training providers, consultants, and educational institutions to leverage external expertise and resources. Identify and manage relationships with external vendors for training program delivery. Process Improvement and Standardization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization within the training and development function. Streamline and enhance training processes, procedures, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and associate satisfaction. Culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning, contributing to employee satisfaction, skill development and overall organizational success HR Data and Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving training and development program delivery. Utilize data to highlight success. KEY REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related area. 3+ years of relevant experience with LMS Administration (LMS Cornerstone preferred) Proficiency in using learning management systems, e-learning tools, and other technology platforms for training delivery and management. Prior experience supporting training coordination or L&D Operations. Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and eLearning authoring tools (Canva, Synthesia, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Articulate 360, and Adobe Suite Applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, etc) Knowledge of streaming platforms is a plus – Flash, mp4, and HTML5 with mobile learning as well as mainstream browsers and operating systems such as iOS and Android. Exposure to compliance training, onboarding workflows, or workforce development programs. Experience integrating third-party content libraries (LinkedIn Learning, 4S, ELMO, etc) Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery methods. Strong technical aptitude and comfort with system and reporting tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for creating training materials and effectively delivering training sessions. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines within budget constraints. Capability to assess training effectiveness, analyze data, and make data-driven improvements to training programs. A willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and adapt training programs accordingly. A patient and empathetic attitude to help trainees who may struggle with complex technical concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and calendar tools (Outlook, Teams, etc) Strong customer service mindset and ability to work cross-functionally. Able to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment, while providing clear direction to associates. DESCRIPTION Your primary responsibility is to create great learning experiences via e-learning modules. Key job responsibilities Identify learning needs mapped to business outcomes by partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders.
